Purdue Online Writing Lab

The Online Writing Lab at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material and provides them as a free service of the Writing Lab at Purdue. Students, members of the community, and users worldwide will find information to assist with many writing projects. Teachers and trainers may use this material for in-class and out-of-class instruction.

Literary Hub

Focused on literary fiction and nonfiction, Literary Hub publishes personal and critical essays, interviews, and book excerpts from over 100 partners, including independent presses, large publishers, bookstores, non-profits, and literary magazines. The mission of Literary Hub is to be the site readers can rely on for smart, engaged, entertaining writing about all things books.

Academy of American Poets

Founded in 1934 in New York City, the Academy of American Poets is the nation’s leading champion of American poets and poetry, with members in all fifty states. Its mission is to support American poets at all stages of their careers and to foster the appreciation of contemporary poetry.

Latino Poetry

Latino Poetry is a national public humanities initiative directed by Library of America, a nonprofit  publisher and cultural institution, in partnership with the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures and arts organizations, museums, and libraries nationwide.

The initiative seeks to center the rich and diverse voices of the Latino poetic tradition, bringing them into conversation with current debates about the history and promise of America.  With the guidance and participation of prominent scholars and poets, the programming will examine the extraordinary breadth and range of Latino poetry and its ongoing relevance to our national life.
